  My name is Jim White. I've had 2 hearing aids for about a decade, maybe 3 different pairs and mostly didn't wear any of them as I found they didn't offer me real help in most situations.
  At the suggestion of a dear friend, I went to Doctor Stelios Dokianakis in Holland where I went through a series of tests that I'd not seen before — such a thorough job. Turns out I had severe hearing loss and also abnormal hearing loss.
  The result was that I have hearing now that I haven't had in over 2 decades.
  You with severe loss know the social implications of not being able to hear well. That can all go away. You can be restored to the "conversation" in most any situation.
  You cannot go wrong here. Integrity, knowledge, common sense, and a doctor who loves his work.
